So the drive west on the Glenn Highway from the Copper Center area was nice, quite, and not too rough. Pulled in to take a hike for a glacier view. Stopped at Palmer, home of the Alaska State Fair and some of the biggest grown vegetables, for a walk during their summer solstice event.
Were delayed for a few minutes by slow traffic.
The Dall Sheep finally pulled over after about a half mile.

All kind of signs we don't see at home, this one about Moose-Car collisions.
These were some big waves in the road, usually a lot closer together (roller coaster like).
Big turn. A lot of the roads cut out side of mountain.
Amazing the fog/clouds created around the mountain peaks.

Palmer train station.
They had chalk out for kids of all ages to write on the sidewalk.

If you got off the train and walked into town this was the welcome sign.
Had mileage from here to other cities. DC is 4557 miles, Columbus 4119 miles.
And to one night at Big Bear campground between Palmer and Wasilla.
